9mm – 115 Grain FMJ – Federal Range. Target. Practice. – 50 Rounds For Sale
Don’t bother going all the way to your shooting range with bum ammo – even if you’re so fortunate as to have your shooting range in your backyard. Entrust so important a job to Federal, who have now in the business of making fine ammo for over one century!
This 9mm cartridge is ideal for becoming a better shooter. Heck, it’s also just the ticket if you’re only fooling around plinking, because it has got an FMJ projectile. Such a bullet is economical because it isn’t designed to do anything fancy inside of a soft target. The non-expanding bullet consists of a simple lead core and gilding metal jacket, nothing more, so it feeds easily out of a magazine, doesn’t create very much bore fouling, and stays on course with its streamlined profile.
This 115 grain bullet’s muzzle velocity is supersonic, so it creates a satisfying crack as it issues out of the muzzle at 1,180 fps. And while an FMJ may not be optimized for personal protection, to suggest that getting hit with one would be a pleasant experience would be plum foolish. (Pardon our French.)
Federal puts as much care into making consistent supporting components as they do their bullets. This range round’s brass shell casing will cycle smoothly even after you’ve reloaded it a few times, and its clean burning propellant and non-corrosive primer both work to keep your valuable weapon in pristine condition.
